We hear all the time that ā€˜Content is King’, right? But how hard is it running a business or a department and being on top of the content for your business?

Even if you’ve got a team of marketers, or you outsource to a third party, you still need to provide the ideas, the evidence, the videos, etc.

And yes, even me, actually especially me, I find it really hard too. The constant ā€˜need’ to post, the idea & content generation, the actual posting, and then there’s the analytics of what worked well & what didn’t. In all honesty, even though I tell my clients that this is what’s needed these days, it doesn’t mean it’s any easier for me.

So what am I doing about it?

I’m starting to really embrace scheduling, something I’ve shied away from for a while. I’m using ā€˜Meta’ forĀ FBĀ &Ā IG,Ā LinkedIn’sĀ scheduling tool as well, and for others (readĀ TikTok,Ā Bluesky, andĀ PInterestĀ (yes I’m on there too), I’m usingĀ Buffer.

It’s currently in trial mode as the content still has to be produced, but I’m getting on top of that & will keep you posted as to how I get on.

UK Start Up and Scale Week

A round up of UK StartUp and Scale Week Day 1 in Sunderland in June 2025 As well as Atomicon, there was alsoĀ UK Start Up and Scale Week, back after a hietus due to the impact of Covid, held at various venues around Sunderland, with another menu of incredible speakers sharing tips for startups and businesses wanting to scale, advice about funding, as well as new developments for the north east, not least of all the amazingĀ British EsportsĀ HQ, hosting British and International competitiors as well as offering educational qualifications for Esports people and the infrastructure that supports this $4bn+ industry.

Paul Lancaster, founder and host of the event, hasn’t confirmed a repeat for next year, but I’m thinking it’s got to be a ā€˜GO’ given the attendees and support for the event. Watch this space for more info!
